Your Road to Recovery Begins at SaVida

Delaware ranks ninth in the nation in fatal overdose rates, and most of those deaths are directly linked to opioids like heroin, prescription pain medications, and fentanyl. If you or a loved one are suffering from opioid addiction, you’re in the right place.

At SaVida Health, our mission is simple: To treat opioid addiction by providing high-quality medication assisted treatment (MAT) in a convenient and affordable outpatient environment that takes a patient-first approach.

Our team of compassionate physicians and licensed medical providers combine the science of MAT with hands-on care. Instead of focusing solely on the disease of opioid addiction, we work to heal the whole person.

Our Dover and Newark opioid addiction treatment centers offer a comprehensive commitment to behavioral healthcare, counseling, and patient support – inside and outside our offices.

  • We offer Medication-Assisted Treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol) at two convenient locations in Dover and Newark.
  • We accept Medicaid and most health insurance providers.
  • No need to wait. You can be seen immediately and prescribed Suboxone, if appropriate.
  • We offer in-house group, individual, family, and intensive outpatient counseling.
  • Case managers help with essential needs like housing, transportation, and childcare.

Don’t wait another day to begin your new life.

SAVIDA SUCCESS STORIES

The Most Precious Gift-Testimonial by Jordan

I started using opioids in 2008 after my father died. I was in and out of jail in Florida until I moved back home to the Berkshires. I Continued to use on and off. New Year’s Eve 2013, I was just sick and tired of living that way and having nothing and began with Experience  Wellness Centers Pittsfield office ( Now Savida Health).

I am coming  up on four years clean and sober. Making the decision to get help and stay clean with the support of staff, family and friends. I have met the woman of my dreams,  bought a home , new truck , a motorcycle and was given the most precious gift I have ever received in my life by having my son.

Why Buprenorphine-Naloxone (Suboxone) vs. Methadone?

Both buprenorphine-naloxone (brand names Suboxone, Zubsolv, Bunavail) and methadone are FDA approved medicines used to treat adults who are addicted to opioid drugs (either prescription or illegal). Unlike methadone treatment, which requires daily visits to a methadone clinic, buprenorphine treatment allows a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner to prescribe medications like Suboxone for at-home dosing, significantly increasing treatment access and allowing clients the convenience of less frequent visits to their healthcare provider.

Now there is also an option for a monthly injection (Sublocade) as well. Depending on where the patient is in their recovery journey, visit frequency typically ranges from weekly to as little as monthly. Buprenorphine also has unique pharmacological properties that help lower the potential for abuse and overdose. Make an appointment with a SaVida Health today to find out if buprenorphine treatment combined with counseling is right for you.
