Insurance Accepted by SaVida Health
SaVida Health is committed to providing affordable medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most forms of commercial insurance.
States hit the hardest by the opioid epidemic are often lacking affordable treatment resources. That’s something SaVida Health is dedicated to changing.
We work hard to make treatment available and affordable for everyone. The expansion of Medicaid has increased access to medication-assisted treatment, reduced delays in treatment, and lowered or eliminated the cost of medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Currently Covered by Medicaid: You can immediately be seen by our caring professionals and prescribed medication, if deemed appropriate for the program. Intake includes drug use history, a lab analysis, and discussions with a counselor and nurse practitioner or doctor. Medicaid covers the cost of office visits and your monthly Suboxone cost at the pharmacy cab be as little as $0.
- Waiting for Medicaid Approval: If you’ve already applied for Medicaid, you can still be seen by our clinicians immediately and prescribed medication if deemed appropriate. However, we require you to take part in our discount self-pay plan while you’re waiting for approval. Medicaid will retroactively cover your treatment from the date you applied for coverage. Once coverage is approved, we will reimburse you for office visit fees and Medicaid will reimburse you for all Suboxone prescriptions filled while waiting for approval.
- Ready to Apply for Medicaid: We know it can be stressful and overwhelming to deal with insurance application paperwork, especially when your attention should be focused on recovery. If you haven’t applied for Medicaid coverage yet, that’s no problem! Schedule a consultation appointment. We’ll walk you through the process step-by-step help and help you apply on-site. The approval timeframes vary – we’ve seen some applications approved in a week, while others took up to four weeks. You can still be seen by our clinicians immediately and prescribed medication if appropriate, but we require you to take part in our discount self-pay plan (discussed above) while waiting for approval.
