Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA (July 10, 2024)—SaVida Health, a leader in outpatient medication-assisted treatment for opioid, alcohol, and stimulant use disorder, proudly welcomes J. Brooke Fortune, Physician Assistant.
Fortune is a seasoned physician assistant with nearly two decades of experience serving Hampton Roads. After learning that her former employer planned to close their Norfolk office, Fortune was determined to find a way to continue caring for her addiction recovery patients. Her search led her to Savida Health where she saw the opportunity to remain in the area and continue her essential work.
“I am incredibly grateful for the chance to continue caring for the people I have grown to care about so deeply,” says Brooke Fortune, PA. “Joining Savida Health allows me to stay connected to my patients and offer them the ongoing support they need on their journey to recovery. Currently, I’m accepting patients in Virginia Beach, and a new Norfolk location is in the works. This expansion is an example of meeting our community’s addiction and recovery treatment needs.”
Andy Ward, Chief Growth Officer at Savida Health, shares his enthusiasm about Brooke’s addition to the team: “Savida Health is committed to our communities and dedicated to expanding our teams with compassionate, like-minded professionals. Brooke’s extensive experience and unwavering dedication align perfectly with our mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Moreover, we look forward to opening an office in Norfolk in the coming months. We recognize transportation may be a challenge for some, and Norfolk will provide a location closer to home for many who may need Brooke’s support .”
Savida Health looks forward to Brooke’s positive impact on the Virginia Beach and Roanoke communities and is confident that her expertise and compassion will be instrumental in helping patients achieve lasting recovery.
