S. Kiser should not be allowed to work there or even a veterinarians office! She is only there for 2 out of 7 visits. She always remotes w/ patients. (suspect she still gets same amount of $) She is cruel & heartless! I love my doctor she's thorough and very personable and knowledgeable about my illness . There's no doctor I've seen lately who cares about me like Dr starla. The whole staff is friendly and helpful I would suggest this facility to anyone who is hurting or worse an addict. They go beyond the scope of medication, they find root problems and fix it. If you need help with addiction, pain, depression, anxiety, alcoholics, etc. go to savida health. I had to switch my insurance so they could help me without a huge copay. Once I get my 700$ balance paid off I don't have any copays.

I have been going to the location in Big Stone Gap VA since the office has opened , I have always loved my visits felt comfortable with Savida , I have referred many patients to this location .. never have I been disrespected more than I have the last 2 months I have went , the new crew upfront has awful manners , unsure of their job , make you feel some type of way ..I can't believe the way I was treated from this facility how sloppy and shitty these secutarys or whatever you want to call them! Starla Kiser should fire all of them for not doing their job and making patients feel as if they have done something wrong fro example having covid calling the day of my appointment for a doxy and getting treated as if I'm a mis guided patient that fails them and my doctor on the regular... I'm taking my complaint as far as I can go with this company and I won't stop and I'm not even a person that does shit like that but Savida has been apart of my recovery a big part of my life for the past 3 years and today the way the receptionist treated me as a patient was plain put awful!!

Supposedly random testing yet Dr slipped & said it's every 3mos! What's effn random about that? (I suspect it's cause what I said to Dr & or in survey) Furthermore I was never told about this policy & I can't find it in pictures I made when I started! So I feel like this is overly aggressive considering the cost. I'm suppose to be clean & follow rules? Staff aka secretaries TOUCHING YOUR MEDS WITHOUT GLOVES or Masks DURING PILL COUNTS! In post COVID era this is risky & disgusting! I watched 3 counting pills before I left. Everyone NOT WEARING MASKS OR GLOVES! THIS SHOULD BE MANDATORY! For God sakes they wear flip flops & touch everything in facility. * I'll be honest for what they charge they should ask me what I want!* They should not be telling me what I have to do for the price they charge! Don't get me started on bullshit "therapy" that strictly pads my bill too! (Saw Spiro signs & might go there) They don't follow how many regulations? I can hear others conversations in rooms! SO I guess everyone can hear mine too! THIS PLACE IS NASTY! THE FLOORS ARE GROSS/Dirty & OFTEN COVERED IN BUGS. Why do you have so many people to count pills when they should be sweeping and mopping floors! I don't appreciate doctor ignoring, misdirecting, gaslighting me when I say I need something for anxiety! I really do. Then I get told I need to stop drinking... Guess b/c Dr is what right or? Yeah... Well effn give me something to help. Y'all did that for 6 days when I started. I did not drink for 6 days. Then you said I don't need Librium (Yada bs Doctor swap) & I started drinking again... Nobody said I would get a different Dr either! This is the most expensive place I have ever been in 15yrs in tri-state region! Save your money and go elsewhere! I dont feel like they care or listen! They act like they do. They say well let us know if we can do anything. Then when you ask it's no your on Suboxone you can't have that! Here have some pills that will fk ur brain & or sex drive up. You will need in patient therapy. Well really my sorry ass family gets xxx and doesn't follow any rules plus is fuct up from ground up 24/7... So is that what I need to do just spiral outta control to get what I need? I don't get treatment I deserve from this place! Plus my pocketbook gets raped. Yeah you will get a fix if that's what you want and thats all! See prices attached.... Lastly don't give YOUR OPINIONS (regardless of how much they harass you) or you will get a RANDOM UA & COUNT!

SaVida in Big Stone Gap, VA is a fantastic place. The doctors all seem to know what they're doing, they really listen to you, and they're almost never judgemental. I've met with more than a few doctors and counselors and have only had two negative experiences that were remedied the second I brought it up. The staff are always an absolute pleasure to speak to and interact with. Been going there for years and will continue to go. Wholeheartedly recommend. ❤️

I have been going to Savida for about 1&1/2yrs now & every single visit there has opened my mind up to; actually succeeding in reaching my goals. In dealing w/the Delicate situations of each client a facility needs to be upfront, honest & reliable. They must also have the ability to sooth, encourage & keep their clients interested in continuing their path of recovery. I dont know how they do it, but they do meet all of these requirements & they succeed beyond what is normally expected of a treatment facility. In having to make up your mind to go for treatment one would normally get feelings of itimidation or dread but Savia has made me feel so comfortable, that I almost forget what im actually going there for. The staff here is caring & considerate they try to help w/anything you need to succeed on the road ahead. I must say that each staff member (from receptionist to the Doctors) do go out of their way to personally make sure any concerns are met. I once had an insurance issue w/them not covering my therepy visits, I had to call them to straighten it out but my anxiety over this consumed me & I just couldnt bring myself to make the call. Realizing my concerns Raven (at the front desk) actually took it upon herself, to make the call to the insurance company for me!! She had everything back on track for me in about 5-10 minutes I couldnt believe it!!.By doing this for me I was elated, this stopped my mind from having to continously go back & forth about all the possible challenges that COULD arise from ME making this call. It was like Raven had a magic wand & waved it infront of my eyes & took away all of my worries at the moment. I thanked her w/all my heart for easily helping me through this Much Needed step, it was of course no big deal to her but she understood the concerns I was feeling & did what she could to help my situation!! I seriously cant brag enough about this experience!! In a nutshell, I would recommend Savita & All its Staff members to anyone that is searching for help in making the 1st step to recovery in their lives. Savida will do their best to educate you & give to you the straight facts about your unique situation. You will leave there feeling more confident, knowledgeable & medically stable. With Savida you will now have all the staff in this treatment facility backing you up 100%. That's how I personally feel since starting my treatment with Savida!!! I love this place , the ladies up front treat me so good .. Nic and Crystal are the best. Also Dr Spencer Brown and Dr Gardner are amazing. I appreciate all of you for making me feel welcome and really understanding and listening to me . It means a lot. This office is spotless , you will see the ladies that work up front cleaning a lot. They have a room where you can go in and get clothes and things for free. I think that is pretty cool.. I’ve never seen that at a drs office. Thank you guys for all you do for me to keep me well. The staff/nurses there are very welcoming and easy to get a long with. My favorite nurses are Crystal and Nikita. They know me so well. I'd say thats hard to remember a certain person even after seeing more than a dozen patients in a day. I'm in and out of there most of the time. Once in a blue moon the most I'll be in there is about an hour/hour & a half.
