Take the First Step Today
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, we’re here to help. SaVida Health Richmond provides the tools, support, and structure to help you reclaim your life, one step at a time.
My first time here, I wasn’t particularly having a good morning. I had been trying to get treated for my ADHD for almost a year as someone who has been treated since 16. After being sent all over the place, I finally was sent here. Although I was hesitant at first, they took the best care of me! I wasn’t treated like an “addict” just because of my past, I was treated as someone who has ADHD & with the most respect & eagerness to help. I was finally seen as a person rather than a “junkie”. I truly appreciate all of these women.
Today is the first day back on my meds, I can honestly say I finally feel like myself again & I am beyond grateful.
I have been coming to see Dr. Gardener for almost 2 years now. He is such a great doctor. He hasn’t only cared about my substance abuse treatment but has been more than helpful and very much cared for my actual overall health. He put me in referrals to see specialist, and the ladies who work in the office’s are fabulous as well. They have gone the extra mile to help me be seen because I had a lot of issues with my insurance. Everyone is just the best at Savita health.
I had my first visit with her today and she is just GREAT! She’s understanding, compassionate and a wonderful Dr that actually listens to what you have going on. I would definitely recommend to any and everyone!
Skip inpatient, SaVida can offer everything they do and more. Nurses, front desk, physicians, everyone that works there is kind, patient, respectful, compassionate, and knowledgeable. You will leave there fully informed about every step of your plan. But most importantly you will make your own plan. This is not a one size fits all program. They work with you to create the best possible program for YOU and your recovery. You can be completely honest with them about everything and they will help you find the right way for you to get clean based on your lifestyle, your schedule, your insurance, your specific needs and circumstances, and your budget. You don’t even need to have health insurance to go there. The out of pocket fees and cost of meds are affordable. (Cheaper than using, for sure!) If you are truly ready, SaVida is the best place to go for treatment. Their MAT/comfort meds are tailored to you and your DOC. This was very important to me as I had a bad experience previously that left me nervous to ever try again. I thought I was a lost cause because my withdrawal was too painful. I thought I would never be able to get through detox in order to get clean and get my life back. But there is a way to get through withdrawal, and SaVida will work with you and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. They will monitor you every step of the way to be sure you’re happy with your plan, that it is working for you, or to make adjustments if necessary. I highly recommend SaVida to anyone who wants to stop using substances and get control of their lives back.
I absolutely love Robin Smith she is the best counselor I've ever spoken too, she's an amazingly sweet woman all together. A wonderfully great person that loves to help others that are in need, she's a very Special Soul & has an Awesome Spirit I absolutely enjoy her as a person & love too be in her company.
Great Doctors and staff. I came here when my old Doctors shit down. From the front desk, to the Urinalysis, to the Doctor. All respected me and very helpful. I feel they actually care. They need another office outside the city in Hanover/Henrico area. But i recommend 100%. Counsels are great as well. Manager is awesome as well such a sweet heart.

Awesome staff,And not a long wait time. The doctors care about your recovery and will meet you were you are in your journey.Highly recommend. Also I love how all the staff always makes sure your needs are fully met.Sometimes I feel they work harder for our recovery then we do,and I love that.Shannon is so down to earth.I never feel judged and I feel that I can always be open and honest with her about my sobriety. The entire staff are so helpful and very professional.
I truly experienced a warm and caring atmosphere of professionalism from beginning to end, and I think there should be more Savidas around the city to better combat the opioid epidemic here in Richmond. It would be even better if they would consider hiring some PRS agents to work along side them to better help the client's get a smoother transition through this process.
