SaVida Health Expands to Richmond, VA, with New Center Opening on September 9, 2024
Richmond, VA – 09/04/2024 — SaVida Health, a leading provider of outpatient medication-assisted treatment for opioid, alcohol, and stimulant use disorders, is excited to announce the opening of its newest center in Richmond, VA, starting on September 9, 2024. This expansion will enhance access to quality addiction treatment services in the community.
Andy Ward, Chief Growth Officer at SaVida Health, expressed his excitement about the expansion: “We believe SaVida’s patient-focused approach is perfectly aligned with the needs of the Richmond community. We’re especially excited to take over the location previously occupied by CleanSlate at 1510 North 28th Street and welcome many of their former employees as new members of the SaVida team. Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition of care for former CleanSlate patients and to continue providing high-quality medication-assisted recovery services to the community. Additionally, we are ready to welcome new patients immediately, as we recognize the significant need for our services in this area.”

SaVida Health Richmond will offer individualized, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) plans utilizing FDA-approved medications such as Suboxone®, Brixadi®, Sublocade®, and Vivitrol®. The treatment plans will include medication, counseling, and additional supportive services. The center also provides psychiatric medication management to address the psychological aspects of addiction, promoting long-term recovery and a return to a fulfilling life.

SaVida Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurance plans. The Richmond Center will operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be made by calling 276.284.2230.
