Dr.Mullins is a great Dr. She's so friendly and understanding so is all the staff at Oakwood Savida they've helped me tremendously in my recovery. Thankful for them and all they do.
Tara is great!!! Makes every meeting enjoyable, and times up before you realize it always checking if I need anything at all and tells me to call anytime if I do. Best counselor I’ve had during recovery hands down
Top notch care where they actually care about you and all that you're going through. Now every single one of the STAFF members are EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND WELL TRAINED.
Always a pleasant experience going here staff is really friendly and very helpful with everything at all times and can't really think of a bad thing to say about any experiences that I've had with them and I've been going here for quite a while now!
You really couldn't ask for more from an addiction clinic... Every one is nice and considerate. In and out within an hour or so, super sweet nurse, receptionist and Doctor Amanda...
She’s not engaging at all. I don’t think she knows how to be personal with people. I’m an ex therapist myself. It’s been well over 1520 years since I’ve worked in the field and when I told her that she was more worried about finding my credentials online then she was about talking to me about my day or what I was going through And kept asking me what last name it could be under cause evidently she couldn’t find me. I mean, if she wants me to I can go in my file cabinet and get her my diploma and all of my licensure and all of that if she needs it, but I just don’t see how that had anything to do with a 30 minute session that she supposed to talk to me, she didn’t talk to me. She didn’t look at me. She was not interested in what I had to say. I did all the talking and she did not acknowledge anything I was talking about she didn’t seem to care. She asked three questions. Like about relapse and something else but yeah, she was very unengaging condescending attitude very cold demeanor almost I don’t know how to explain it Cavalier. Maybe she was just she was rude. She did not acknowledge me as a person. She didn’t look at me. She asked me just basic questions like my address my name. She stared at her computer screen the whole time and ignored me. I mean, I have no reason to lie about my credential or anything like that I went to Emory and Henry. I earned my college degree. I just didn’t like it. I had to work with DSS and children and it gave me ulcers so I gave it up and instead opened my own boutique, but she was more consumed with that and yes, I’ve been adopted and married four times so my name has changed several times I don’t remember I don’t. I can’t remember if it was under my maiden name my hyphenated name or my first married name it’s been 20 years and I’m in my 40s. My memory is not great but if she needs me to fax her copies of my credentials. I sure will. I just have no clue what that had to do with our session, but I can tell you one thing having to switch counselors. Every time I have a session that’s not helpful and then I have to tell my first story all about myself all over again each time just I have to redo it next time if that’s getting old I would like to find a counselor who’s gonna stay and who’s engaging or at least we’ll look at you or acknowledge your existence or that actually listens because she was not so I have no interest in having anything to do with her further, I would rather quit the program than ever have any dealings with her again
Amanda and the staff are amazing! Tara was great to talk with. Very easy and understanding. Amanda is the best care provider I’ve ever had. Irreplaceable!
Just every one there is just friendly and nice to u the minute u go in the door till the time u leave the hole staff is some really good and friendly people
I Switched from Hopkins medical to this place and it's been a great change for me so far! Amanda is great and listens to what I say, as a patient I feel heard and understood. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place to help with your recovery.
Excellent medical providers. I have been going to Savida over 7 years now and they have always provided exceptional service. All my counselors have been great, but, I must say Gary has been the best. He definitely found his calling. I’ve never met someone like him that made it so easy to open up to on the first visit. I wish all patients could get to see how wonderful he is. I have seen a few different doctors and they have all been nothing less than amazing. I am grateful that I am able to have such wonderful caregivers. The Oakwood office is the best. I have been to their Abingdon and Claypool Hill offices but this office is my favorite. The staff at Oakwood are so nice and friendly and they go out of their way to help me with whatever I need. I use to dread calling the other offices for whatever reason, but, it doesn’t bother me at all to call Oakwood. I do not feel judged or made to feel less than by any of the office staff or providers. Ms. Amanda works this location and she is wonderful, and I adore my provider Ms. Glass! I also wanted to mention that this office always smells so good and is always so neat and clean. Bathrooms are always stocked and clean. This is definitely the best treatment facility I have been to.
Thank u group for all u all support an helping me an treating me I love this group very seriously caring group. Love u guys id tell everyone to come to u treatment center
I love this place... The staff understand every situation possible, and they don't put you down or judge you. They talk it out, figure out ways to deal with things and support you in your journey.
It's very clean ,friendly nurse practitioner, treats u with respect, understanding what ur dealing with on a day by day basis, everyone is there too help u
What can I say? It's as if this office and staff were designed just for me! Can't imagine going anywhere else for treatment. It's one of a very few places where I don't feel like people are judging or looking down at me. Thanks to them I'm closer and closer to getting my life rebuilt! And that's no small thing!
Great place with a very helpful staff, glad to have them local now, I've been from Abington to Claypool Hill now Oakwood, don't think I could closer to home.
