I m very grateful for all of the support and kindness I get from the team at Savida I wish I had joined sooner they are a great bunch of people and are very good listeners. Thank you all.
Very caring crew here, providing fast and private service. They help with medication and also make sure you’re good in all other areas too because they care! Highly recommend.
First time seeing Melia after being with Ali since 2022! I was sad to see her go but happy for her as well. She assured me that I would be in great hands with Melia and so far I agree. I was worried id have to kinda start over, re-tell the ups and downs of the past 11 years of my life with someone new…again. But It wasn’t that at all, I felt like we picked up right where I left off last month with Ali. She had left thorough notes and seemed like Melia had actually taken time to read them before our appointment. That sounds like it should be common sense and why would I think it’s a big deal?! In my experience it isn’t common sense and I’ve had to tell my story many times when I didn’t think I’d have to. I’ve even been told by other doctors “well, I did see some notes but I didn’t get a chance to read them” I get that they’re busy but sometimes you just don’t wanna re-live the trauma to yet another new person. I’ve been to a couple different places since I began my journey to freedom from addiction. Savida in general has been the best of them. I finally feel comfortable being open and honest about my struggles. No judgements, scolding, fear of reprimand for mistakes…just acceptance, respect, genuine compassion and help forward. I am hopeful that I’ll build a relationship with Melia like the one I had with Ali. Of course it’ll be different, but she seems like the type of person I need for this journey. Someone who doesn’t look at me like just another patient, another addict, someone less than, someone that will definitely lie, give a million excuses and place blame on others. Anyone who’s been thru addiction and recovery has felt that way long enough and been treated like this by so many people in their lives. In order to be successful in recovery I believe we need people like Ali, Melia, and the rest of the team at Savida. I only wish I had found them sooner, but I’m here now.
This place is a life saver and not to mention the amazing staff and Drs that provide care for ones that see no future but Savida really helps out alot really do care about patients recovery and wellbeings
I was nervous to make changes in my sobriety after almost 20 years but im happy and relieved that I made the right choice with Savida..I already feel welcomed, understood,& respected
Everyone I happen to encounter at Savida has been very pleasant you’re made to feel like a part of this little family. Which helps I’m sure for a lot of people, to have others who understand what you’re going through and that you’re not alone. You don’t have to feel like life has come close to the end, you’re just beginning a new one. Only this time time it doesn’t have to feel so chaotic. The best choice you can make, is walk though that door, and be honest, not only with the people will to help, but with yourself too, Sometimes……. You just can’t do it alone, not that it’s impossible. Having good people give you a kind nudge forward. They’re wonderful, caring, and willing to go to bat for you, trust and believe you’ll with some time, you’ll be happy to see yourself in a different light, and learn to love yourself, and find you’re doing things you never thought you could. I really meant to speak in the “I” terms and sorry for that, I think you get the point. Thank you Savida!!
